VLADDY JR IS THE FIRST PERSON IN A LEAFS JERSEY TO WIN A GAME SEVEN IN OVER 20 YEARS
Oh, let me reasssure you, the Canadian Armed Forces are not immune to the same bullshit - it just manifests in different ways.
It is infuriating how STUPID they all are.
Aha. Thank you. That is... illuminating.
SELCON is... (Sorry, CAF member here, I don't always understand the American acronyms and whatnot.)
I thought "up or out" only had two bangs at the gong.

"Yes, yes, it *is* sad that you lost the family farm, but have you heard about the big beautiful ballroom that President Trump is building at the White House? It's going cost a quarter of a billion dollars! Yes, billion, with a b. ... What? ... No, you can't come see it. What a stupid question."
There's a chain out of Montreal called Centrale Bergham that does something similar. It's amazing.
That works. I love a Telecaster Shaped Object.

A good setup shouldn't cost more than 40-60 bucks, and will go a _long_ way to making things more playable. Even the shittiest guitar. (The tech can also tell you if there's something fundamentally wrong with the guitar, like a twisted neck)
Oof. Nothing will make you quit guitar faster than trying to learn on a shitty sub-quality acoustic.

If you can, go to the library and borrow one (if that program's available) or invest in a decent Student Guitar. A $300 Yamaha or Ibanez will go a long way to making the learning enjoyable.
Oof. That's some bad QA, right there. Take it to a tech and get it set up?
This is the way.

Win if you can, lose if you must, but honour the spirit of the game.

And if I catch you cheating, I'm harvesting your goddamn thumbs.
Two games left*

(If the Jays can get their shit together)
I realize I'm slightly biased, since Military, but I've never actually had a -bad- experience on Air Canada? I've had a few trips that were meh, but outright bad? no! They got me where I needed to be, at the time I had to be there, and the one time my bags got diverted, they paid a cab to deliver!
I mean, sure? But you could easily fix that with the agent? Like, a simple "Hi, I have a toddler who clearly cannot be seated alone, what can you do for me?" When did we abdicate all agency? "Oh, the magic seating system said that I can't sit near my toddler, OH WELL, guess I'll just die."
I can't think of the last time I had to give a DOB when booking seats - what in the Wide World of Sports is this faux outrage? Babies. (Not the toddler)

Learned that an anonymous outside expert on submersibles did an interview with the OceanGate Titan investigation, and they released a transcript, with all the names redacted. The first line of his first answer? "I'm sure you're familiar with my film Titanic."
