If Jane mentions baked beans again I'll throttle her.
This is not helping my smug theory that no one is more helpless than a lawyer
They have moved everything to a different wretched app that "connects" with outlook. Let's see how annoying this gets (it takes me to web outlook when I hit see message on the reminder 😞)
My job is very task oriented but new outlook never ever shows my timed reminders! I have tried several ways to make it work, but why can't I set a reminder from the email like I used to?! I regularly have odd lists of people to call or processes to check on, and I had a system that worked!

Before you embark on a journey of revenge, dig two graves. One for practice and the other one is the "main" grave.

Text reads: saturn is back in Pisces this time with support from Jupiter in cancer
TENSEGRITY: a Saturn in Pisces support circle
It’s time to gather and reflect! Tues October 14 & 28 8pm ET
INTERACTIVE SUPPORT SPACE Green background with a picture of a flower bouquet.
Text reads: that’s a lot of potential for productive reflection but oh my god is it TENDER and BRUTAL to be connected to te world right now.
Jupiter in the sign of the moon offers an opportunity to gain wisdom through gathering and reflecting out light back to each other Green background, photo of flowers
What is tensegrity? Tension + integrity
Structures held together by compression through a network of continuous tension Green background, photo of flowers
TENSEGRITY allows for both stability and adaptability because of the ways it is interconnected making it a great symbol for Saturn in Pisces
What can we learn from TENSEGRITY models to guide us though this time

katherine dee is herself a reactionary who has written for TERF blog fairer disputations. her bio there cites her work at american conservative, unherd, and the washington examiner. interesting how the bio she chose here doesn’t reflect that bias. the work itself features no actual citations

It’s time, beyond time, really, I’m leaving Substack. I didn’t do it before because I had no other income to rely on. I don’t think abandoning spaces is always the right answer but sometimes it’s necessary www.patreon.com/posts/why-i-...

Same! Although my company is small, I'm in the office the most. But since everyone travels or has busy times, I get flexibility about what days I'm in the office. I feel very trusted to do my work, though
Please continue! I enjoy it!!
This is wise, I absolutely should do this

We must celebrate our Italian queens. Monica Bellucci. Cristin Milioti. The one Olympian sponsored by the concept of Parmesan cheese. Stella Sacco
"Instead of Columbus, we should celebrate all Italian women for being so hot." this is a genuine thought I had this morning. I'm sharing it as an act of contrition. please do not get mad at me. please do not become passionately enraged with your fiery tempers and strike me with a heavily-ringed hand
Yay! I hope your Swoon Day has been the best yet!
Happy birthday, Hugh! I hope it's a good one!

In 2004, Parisian police were conducting a training exercise in the french catacombs and found, after moving past a desk and a tape playing audio of snarling dogs, a fully functional movie theater and bar. When they returned 3 days later, the equipment was gone, with a note: “Do not try to find us.”
Members of the force's sports squad, responsible
- among other tasks - for policing the 170 miles of tunnels, caves, galleries and catacombs that underlie large parts of Paris, stumbled on the complex while on a training exercise beneath the Palais de Chaillot, across the Seine from the Eiffel Tower.
After entering the network through a drain next to the Trocadero, the officers came across a tarpaulin marked: Building site, No access.
Behind that, a tunnel held a desk and a closed-circuit TV camera set to automatically record images of anyone passing. The mechanism also triggered a tape of dogs barking, "clearly designed to frighten people off," the spokesman said.
Further along, the tunnel opened into a vast 400 sq metre cave some 18m underground, "like an underground amphitheatre, with terraces cut into the rock and chairs". There the police found a full-sized cinema screen, projection equipment, and tapes of a wide variety of films, including 1950s film noir classics and more recent thrillers. None of the films were banned or even offensive, the spokesman said.
A smaller cave next door had been turned into an informal restaurant and bar. "There were bottles of whisky and other spirits behind a bar, tables and chairs, a pressure-cooker for making couscous," the spokesman said.
"The whole thing ran off a professionally installed electricity system and there were at least three phone lines down there."
Three days later, when the police returned accompanied by experts from the French electricity board to see where the power was coming from, the phone and electricity lines had been cut and a note was lying in the middle of the floor: "Do not," it said, "try to find us."
I've been eating cream of wheat with maple syrup and going "gruuueeelllle" every morning
I still use a towel, but I just wrap my hair in the towel and squeeze it for a minute without twisting it up. It works!
My mom has to bring Charleston themed treats for her mystery bookclub (the book is set in Charleston) and we just talked about benne wafers and now I need some! And also chicken purlo.
You look so good, beautiful!!! I love this dress 😍
