Disgusting, I'm stuck in Turkey trot traffic while I'm trying to eat pastries and drink coffee with my friend! It's Spinster Thanksgiving 😤

Growing up we did holidays at my godparents house, and for Christmas my godmother's doctor gave her goose or venison he hunted! Sometimes I think I'm not country and then I remember things like this
it fascinates me how most everyone in the U.S. does turkey for Thanksgiving, but we are all over the map as to what we eat for Christmas (as is proper for a hugely diverse nation).

I come from a Christmas prime rib roast family, myself.
I also use the bacon method. Although turkey is Christmas dinner where I come from.

I know there's something wrong with me, bc after two months off of sugar (and many other things), I just want Turkish delight. I don't need most sweets, but give me the gelatinous, rose flavored sugar

I am acutely feeling all the ways that the tech industry has dismantled customer service. I think AI is the last step in that. I need people who can understand complex systems with me, in order to correct things. If you don't have a dedicated person to understand an account, you can't do that

something i'll note is that if nuzzi ran catch-and-kill ops for rfk jr and lizza knew this prior to him being appointed as HHS, and instead of telling anyone, he decided to save it for his substack long after rfk jr had made communicable disease into federal policy, that's completely fucked

So your saying the people long for Graham technique floor work
I wrote this piece because I only learned about pelvic floors a few years ago, despite having had one all my life. And then it turned out to be where I store all my issues. And then that turned out to be true for a lot of people www.wired.com/story/the-pe...
The Pelvic Floor Is a Problem
Everyone’s suddenly obsessed with the pelvic floor—physical therapists, MAHA influencers, me. Could this deeply misunderstood body part really be the seat of so much modern dysfunction?

this thread. yeesh.
We’re watching a shift where AI simulates the cohesion and reinforcement that used to require an entire online community. A single person can now build a complete parallel reality with nothing more than a prompt window. Which seems bad.
