NEW — I dug into the story of ICE abducting a 13-year-old boy in Massachusetts and moving him 500 miles across state lines without notifying his mother, local cop's complicity, and how the federal government's justification for such cruelty is already falling apart:

ICE took a 13-year-old they said had a gun. Local cops say he didn’t.

Now he's detained 500 miles away from his Massachusetts home.

He thought about for a second or two then told the little girl if you want that tractor you can have it. He promptly left the tractor to the little girl and left the property. If you visit Lake Shawnee today that tractor still sits where that little girl claimed it.

They would repair it and get it back into shape. So, they started fixing it up. One day a gentleman was on his tractor doing some work and he got off of the tractor to tend to something and when he turned around, he saw a little girl sitting on his tractor.

Of course, it became the subject of many haunted tales such as empty swings that swing on their own like any abandoned property with a tragic back story does.
After a while it was decided that it was going to be reopened.

This is one of my favorite ghost stories and since it’s that season let’s do this.
It takes place at Lake Shawnee Park in West Virginia. It had been closed down for some time because of some fatal accidents involving children and was in pretty bad shape as abandoned property usually is.
