It's really cold outside…

I hope all the people who are living in a tent, wake up this morning

If only they would take a shelter bed instead

Oh wait, our counselors don't think that's a good solution and prefer them to live in tents.

"Portland has reclaimed the frog as a symbol of its resistance to Trump’s efforts to militarize the city. Perhaps women should claim the glamorous, sassy Muppet Miss Piggy, a known diva with a fierce karate chop, as their own symbol. Call a woman a piggy, and see how that goes..., Mr. President. "

It all would have been much easier if, as would have happened if we were remotely a serious country, it all ended with the Access Hollywood interview.

We need to decide if this is what we want

I want realism

Being inside a building isn't stressed enough.

A building is way better than a tent.

Do people no longer read the three little pigs story?

Some national groups, including one called the Welcome PAC, sees Gluesenkamp Perez’s blue-collar identity and strong ties to her district as a model to lower the temperature in American politics.

Southwest Washington Democratic Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez’s centrist politics are being seen as a template for the 2026 mid-terms.

Haha yeah looks right

Anyway, my radical but also normie lib housing as a human right take is that we should do almost all our redistribution with vouchers and/or cash. Transfers do the job I care about most (housing almost everybody) & governments are really good at them

I co-wrote Trump’s first anti-terrorism plan in 2017-18. He’s not trying to stop “left-wing” terrorism. He is staging it.

His troop deployments are a false flag — meant to provoke a response in order to justify harsh crackdowns.

This is now very obvious.

It seems clear—I think to everyone, now—that a false and illegal invocation of the Insurrection Act is coming before the end of the year. Media outlets should be telling us how they will prepare for this potential Treason. State governments should be telling us. Activists should be developing plans.

Folks, you can't report the United States to its manager. There's no superhero coming to save us.

We don't need one giant act of heroism. We need millions of small acts of solidarity. Help one person in your community for nothing in return. Then, do it again. And again.

That's the revolution.

As you exit I 84 to go onto I five south… There's a graffiti that says pay me in big bold letters

I can't think of anything that is more appropriate for Portland… The city of takers and the government just encourages it rather than getting people to be self-reliant
