Unless we have that same level of continual urgency, in another 8 years many will be going, "hey how bad can it be?" and then the next year protesting the tyrant all over again after they realize they've seen this movie before they just memory holed it until it was too late.. (7/7)

I also worry its a bit of a check valve and wont convert into the boring tedious work essential to fix this, so it never happens again. Literally all of this could have been prevented. ALL OF THIS had people been paying attention! (2/7)

This is objectively funny. Tried to get a grand jury indictment three times and failed- then dropped it to a misdemeanor and lost in court. Somewhere Pam Bondi is gnashing her teeth and blaming the jurors instead of admitting to her clear over reach.

It is unknown whether this shaped Lenin's view of things but he didn't overthrow the czar, he overthrew an elected but dysfunctional government where a large minority were some flavor of leftist who voted to keep the war going, instead of try to end it, like what Lenin did. (5/11)
