Sadly Trump lowered the bar so low that a lot of our worst actions became lesser, but it doesn't take away from the desire to harm people in a less than equitable manner.

We need to remember their failings, politicians are banking on us not to.

With Clinton, the Glass-Steagall Act repeal harmed us economically for no good reason in regard to the good of the people as well as his Crime Bill which ended up mass incarcerating folks for trumped-up jail time.

I'd argue all of them were in some way, maybe some less than others. Reagan both economically harmed us with Reaganomics and his war on drugs which harmed men of color most of all.

Bush lied about the reasons to go to war to finish daddy's business.

How come they all take so much money, make grand promises, then leave office with book deals, promises broken, more money, and we still get... what... the Chips and Sciences Act?
