Unusually efficient afternoon: article pitched, accepted and first draft written already.

This is not how things usually work.
Interesting how they make the buyer donate directly rather than just donating a percentage of the proceeds.

A cynic might point out that it there are favourable tax implications for the buyers - and it makes them look good too.

OTOH that $5k does actually go to charity.

Weird how in that my brain wants to read rave as though it rhymed with 'betterave' or or 'grave' or 'cave'... wait none of this works in English.

Then: this bit's not working, perhaps I need to dig deeper into this character's inner flaw.

Ultimately it's your work to do with as you wish.

Some people might say putting work out for free makes it a little harder for others trying to charge for theirs. I honestly don't know whether that's true or not.
It's a good test: do they make the simple seem complex or vice versa? I know who I'd rather hang out with.
