Cool. I only watch CBS for Colbert anyway. So here’s an early see ya to CBS!

Now she has to pay those loans, but she isn’t stuck with $150K debt, or some with $200K. Public service jobs can be great.
My kid was one of those! Now she cooks for herself, trying lots of things I could never have talked her into. While in law school, during COVID, I was working night shift/2 shifts/then 3 doing hospice. She learned to cook w/ with what she shopped for. It was great for her. No$ from FAFSA! 1/2
IDK, but many kids who trick or treated me, in Texas, were in them and other inflatable costumes. Fun for me, but hard to turn around in my narrow doorway.
Of course ending slavery was the right thing to do. Even though we continued it, replacing Black slaves with Irish (and other) immigrants.
In my school, back in the “olden days”, home ec was an elective. Considered an Easy A class, for girls with no ambition outside a home, not considered relevant for the girls who took electives like orchestra, band, speech, foreign languages. And now you know my jr high and high school secrets. Nerd!
Imagine saying this was the start, after Nixon. Crazy he’s looking angelic now!
Why is it even a “thing” to donate to judges? It’s supposed to be to the best, the most impartial, the wisest. It’s not a place for politics. It is, to me, a higher honor than being elected than any other.
It’s crazy that our elections are about money. Campaigns last months. Other countries, 3 weeks.
My sympathies about your living in Arkansas. I’ve lived in neighboring states(LA, OK, & TX), but I’m never going to have to put the Huckabilly state on my resume.
Miss Usha looking much older and super tired. And probably feeling like the grieving Widow Kirk went way too far with the VP.
There is a class my kid took in Junior High, maybe High School called “Life Skills”. They were taught cooking plus general home management skills. My kid is still mad at me for complaining they had a B at one time.
Kid is now a practicing attorney. I still don’t think that B was okay.
This is funny, but do I really think Melania cares? No. How old is Barron now? I think 19 years is when Melania last had sex with her husband. And I love that for her.
There will be next year when all the farmers can’t afford to plant. Sorry, didn’t mean to diss on my favorite day of the year. Love setting my clock back.
Not Melania.
And why would Trump have sex at his advanced age and in his physical condition?
Start with Justice Thomas’ record. Please.
Just an aside here.
I loved government cheese. We didn’t have it in my home, but when I was 12, I babysat at a mom’s home who did. I stayed over night with her two children so she could work the overnight shift and make a few more dollars at Texas Instruments.
And I ate that cheese and loved it!
Never forget that the first people murdered en masse by Nazis were the disabled!
I don’t know what to believe about Vance’s past. Vance’s switch from “never a trumper”. Vance’s Hindú wife aging 20 years in less than one. It’s all predicated on lies.
I do believe the couch thing is true, but only because I want it to be.
Ms Rollins grew up in rural East Texas. Her husband is an oil man. Talk about forgetting where you came from!
Joined the CWA picket line at 4 y/o. I’ll do picket lines after I retire! Scabs who don’t join enjoy what unions members get. I guess it’s time to start looking “for the Union label” again! Only some of us will get that reference. If we have to fight for rights on union lines, I’m in. Never a scab!
Where’s the unlike, thumb’s down button? I can’t heart this!
MTG is Marjorie Taylor Greene, Rep for Georgia. We don’t know much about her past, but she divorced about time of her first election. She dates or dated some weasel in trump’s sphere. Don’t know her situation now. She’s sort of a wild card MAGAT.
That’s a horrible thing that kids won’t have even a ride. My kid was raised in Wyoming, where that would be awful. We had some schools with only rural students. And many below zero days, not to mention snow days. The buses NEVER failed them. One snow day ever: the day before her class graduated.
