Thinking of all those beginning their Hanukkah celebrations with heavy hearts after the horrific events in Australia. Everyone should be able to celebrate religious and cultural holidays in peace and safety. I hope that will be the reality in our world one day.

I don't know how anyone can deny or downplay the rise in antisemitic violence when 15 people are murdered + dozens more wounded in a terrorist attack that targeted the Jewish community on the first night of Hanukkah. To deny the rise in violent antisemitism is to be entirely untethered from reality.
