I know I keep thinking of the first time I read them, where I casually opened the first book after work in an uncomfortable chair and then looked up like 5 hours later with a cramped neck and went “shit”. Which rules! But also yikes. Still might do it anyways

And leather isn’t always folks cup of tea, but I do love the ability to recondition them with some waterproofing wax every so often. Seems like they’ll last forever

I’ve had a pair of Black Diamond Tour gloves for ~3 years which are great. They’re “uninsulated”, but multiple layers of leather+fabric so still pretty warm. I wear them with some thin glove liners. Easy to slip off the big gloves and send a quick text with the liners on

It’s funny buying a car after 5 years without one because I’m constantly reminded of the second point in the original tweet. Considerably more nervous all of the time and going “damn good thing that car barely stopped before running into me”

I was supposed to have Jury Duty tomorrow and I was so excited. I’ve never had jury duty before and I wanted to do my civic duty and I had a whole outfit picked out and everything AND THEY CANCELLED IT
