I'd go one further: the Democrats should condition budgets on the passage of an anti-SLAPP law, similar to ones in California and New York, that would allow for shakedown lawsuits like Trump's to be expeditiously dismissed and for defendants to recover lawyers fees + damages.

These are internally-displaced people. Climate refugees. Alaska, we need a plan for hosting and housing these families now while also planning for these waves of displacement being a permanent condition. One that we are ALL vulnerable to. #AlaskaSky

It's interesting seeing the different ways resistance has formed in different cities. Los Angeles Organized, Chicago Radicalized, and Portland Got Weird as Fuck. All 3 have had success unifying their respective cities.

Y'all who keep lecturing protesters to "not give them an excuse" need to pause for a minute. Imagine yourself telling a DV victim, "Be sure not to mouth off or make any mistakes so he won't hit you. Don't give him an excuse! It's what he wants!" That's what you fools sound like.

For the ruling class, "property" is more important than justice and human rights. From that perspective, it makes sense that they they think robots and AI are more important than real people. They care far more about the machines in their factories being sabotaged than people being murdered.
