A Snipe in the garden as I went down to the pond.
I hope to catch him on camera.
They often stay in the area for many weeks if the pickings are good & it's nicely flooded in the willow scrub, which may be a draw for a probing beak.

Estuarine waders have increased,; several populations have declined, including Bewick’s Swan, Pink-footed Goose and Eurasian Teal. Whooper Swan, Little Egret and non-migratory goose populations have continued to increase.
