The long years of austerity obviously haven't touched the lives of #r4today presenters and their circle of friends. They are clueless about how much damage has been done to areas of society that they might rarely interact with but certainly don't appear to know anybody who has suffered.

Many of the presenters of #r4today top up their huge salaries from the BBC by writing columns for billionaire right-wing owners of the British press. They then are allowed by the hierarchy at the corporation to review the very same papers they write for. You don't bite the hand that feeds you.
