Think about it logically. Journalism is not activism. It is the presentation of information supported by facts. Opinion and Editorial elements are there, but they are also not supposed to be activism. They are warnings and punditry from those who witness the tides of politics and decency.

My dislike of modern Christmas songs isn't because they are insincere. Most of them are insincere. It is because I no longer associate great memories of the holidays with them. I hear Justin B pretending profound understanding of the season and think he's just cashing a check. But then, who wasn't?

Why do we have to take a side in a rivalry to spend billions? It isn't enough that Paramount may gobble up one of its historic studio rivals OR a newcomer might beat them to it? It's currency at war: more than your entire genetic line has likely ever earned since they started trading meat for skins.

I enjoy that news outlets and pundits are picking up the phrases "political kayfabe" and "media kayfabe" to represent the postured, theatrical rhetoric designed for promotion rather than discourse. I hope it gets traction and becomes an epithet for lazy, cowardly governing AND reporting.
