Hey everyone. I’ll be honest, I’ve run out of rope on this “being a writer” business, to the point where my site either takes off, now, or I start applying for whatever local shop/cleaning jobs are available. This isn’t a “threat”, just an honest statement of where I am. Sorry.

"I think [Retro Rally] is similar to Horror and Roguelikes in that it's a genre that provides lots of replayability without needing tons of production cost to develop, has an audience, and is not competing against AAA, which is the sweet spot for indies!" www.pcgamer.com/games/racing...
Real-life rally racing is dying and triple-A rally games are dead, but the sport's gotten a second life thanks to these excellent indie racers
For the love of dirt-road racing.

For all the complaints I’ve seen about MK World’s free roam, it's easily the most exciting part of the package for me. The racing has some major issues in this game, but there are little nuggets of Nintendo design magic all over its open world. Some super tricky technical challenges too. It's good!

I've put around 80 hours into Blades of Fire, and honestly, it's excellent. A sprawling fantasy adventure that takes you on a real journey, with the best combat system this year. If you don't mind 'em a little weird and prickly, don't miss this one.
