Protesting in DC. Power to the people. #NoKings
💯. I feel the same about “teaching content” as I do about “writing content.” It devalues what is actually, cognitively, happening.

Banging on about replacement rates and the fertility crisis is a guaranteed way to spot someone who wants to control women

Their solution to the supposed fertility crisis is always removing enough rights from women, that you force them to be pregnant

Just so I have this straight: Vance thinks racist men in their 20s and 30s are “just kids,” but 12-year-old girls are grown enough for forced pregnancy?

TAKE ACTION: The Election Assistance Commission is accepting public comments on this request for a “show-your-papers” requirement. Will you speak out against this attack on the freedom to vote?

I'm honored to have the endorsement of President @barackobama.bsky.social.

He knows how high the stakes are on November 4th — and he knows that every vote counts.
Proud to read that my alma mater, Brown, is the second university to decline to join the Trump Administration’s so-called “Compact.” #Brown #EverTrue

My opponent voted against protecting the right to buy birth control.

Virginia, as Governor, I will sign the Right to Contraception Act into law.
Big part of the reason I don’t use AI to do my thinking and writing for me is because I enjoy thinking and writing.

Thinking and writing are what I do best.

Life isn’t all about the outcome. Process matters. Striving matters.
Pretty soon they’re going to make up some fake peace prize and give it some stupid but official-sounding name and have a ceremony for all the sycophants and give it to Trump.

I don’t know who needs to hear this but the CDC is being eviscerated right now. America is not going to have any kind of outbreak response capacity after tonight. Americans’ health data is no longer secure. Say goodbye to federal public health in any capacity. It’s a disaster. We won’t recover.

Right now, with the stroke of a pen, reproductive rights could be taken away in Virginia — if we elect Winsome Earle-Sears as Governor.

It’s unacceptable. Reproductive healthcare decisions should stay between a woman, her family, and her doctor. Full stop.

Seriously, Judges *do no do things like this*

They don't give their opinion to the media

They don't criticize how SCOTUS works

This is them breaking the emergency glass, folks

This is super-bad, guys.

Not bad for viruses and bacteria and helminths, tho…
BREAKING: Friday night massacre underway at CDC. Doznes of "disease detectives," high-level scientists, entire Washington staff and editors of the MMWR (Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report) have all been RIFed and received the following notice:

The editors of the CDC’s Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR) were apparently fired today.

The precursor to MMWR began in 1878 to address emerging public health threats rapidly.

We are not “great” without it. We are vulnerable to threats from sporadic foodborne illness to bioterrorism.
Virginia! Vote @abigailspanberger.com for Governor.
Virginia is the last line of defense for reproductive rights in the South — and women in Virginia deserve to know that it will stay that way.

My position is clear: as Governor, I will always protect reproductive freedom in Virginia.

Uhh, I’m actually the Party of Athena, but…
The Trump Admin does not care about women and children. They want to force women to have children so they can starve.

Absolutely right
So much Democrat and pundit handwringing about the shutdown as if they're in charge of the government.

They're not. The only possibilities are Trump makes things worse with Democratic approval or Trump makes things worse despite Democratic resistance. Don't bail him out.

My latest (on @msnbc.com):
Opinion | Democrats shouldn’t bail out Trump as the shutdown drags on
The best time for the opposition to take a stand, rather than settle for untrustworthy promises, is right now.

It's increasingly clear that the president lives in a constructed bubble of unreality designed by aides who are manipulating him in order to take control of US policy. Seems like an important story - wish media would cover it.
Really enjoying listening to fellow Brown grad Alex Wagner on #PodSaveAmerica
In the midst of the shutdown, Democrats need to lead.
Yep. Every parent feels this. Every student in Psych 101 knows this.
