My experience is that GPs are unsuited to have an option on if somebody should be referred to secondary care or not. They don't have the knowledge to make that call and will tell people they won't be accepted at secondary care only for the patient to be listed immediately once they see a consultant.
The fact that many GPs don't believe people with mental health conditions will not be news to those of us with mental health conditions who have had to deal with these cunts.
Kudos on the BBC for continuing to manufacture consent to take away our rights and healthcare though.

It's horrific watching this play out, in exactly the same step by step way the trans community has been warning about for so many years now.
We're watching the wholesale burning of every scrap of dignity afforded to trans people in the UK, their rights, their medical services, their employment, their place within society, their bodily functions.

A Labour government passed the Equality Act. A Labour government was in power when the Supreme Court interpreted it to not mean what ministers at the time were clear it was intended to mean. The Labour government response should have been to legislate to fix it. Not doing so was a cowardly betrayal.

This literally means that if a trans person requires GnRH blockers for cancer treatment (i.e breast or prostate), they CANNOT get cancer treatment.
