The pussyhat pattern is so quick and easy to knit, too. I made 15 before the first Women’s March. Plus it seems fitting for it to have a comeback, with a twist 🐸

I made a green and black pussyhat, added a smile and some eyes. Boom! It’s a frog

Yeahhhhh….Team Frog here. I knit a frog hat already 🐸

I used the original Pussyhat pattern (adjusted to knit in the round), which is the easiest hat pattern I know. Plus it seems appropriate to bring this pattern back in a new, froggy incarnation.

Knitters, you can whip out a simple frog hat in time for Saturday’s march. All you need is some green and black worsted weight yarn, some stiff white paper card stock, and a couple black buttons.

I knitted a simple pussyhat in green, then stitched a wide smile and added card stock eyeballs attached with buttons. Easy peasy!

When I was in early grade school, my dad would bring his guitar and sing kid songs for the class, including songs he had written about me and my sister.

(This was the 1970s….dads didn’t visit classrooms, like ever.)

Please do! I borrowed the idea from someone else myself. Hats off to the originator, whoever that is

Thank you! I haven’t decided what to put on the other side. Something pointed and tart. I made a “Billionaires SUCK” sign for the Labor Day protest. Evergreen message, but it doesn’t fit the theme for this march

This is a really well done—I hope it catches on: A silent roadside protest staged over the weekend in Westerville, Ohio, and posted to the Facebook page of the Westerville Progressive Alliance.

I’m thinking about knitting a frog hat for the protest on Saturday. It’s hard to claim “scary Antifa” if it’s a bunch of normies wearing silly animal hats.

This is one of the most quoted movies in our household. We watch it every October as a Halloween tradition

And, baby, that's showfish business for you ✨

That's right, this (not so Swift) star might be dressed for a new era, but has been hard at work for years helping us generate millions for restoring aquatic lands all over Washington. dnr.wa.gov/aquatics/she...
A stunning album cover with the words "The Life of a Showfish" in orange glittery letters. The album also features a geoduck, semi-submerged in water wearing a bedazzled top and looking their best in Washington's waters. On the back cover, the geoduck is wearing a new bedazzled top, and a Vegas-showgirl styled headdress, with large orange feathers imitating their natural siphon process. The list of songs is 1. The Fate of Ceviche, 2. Elizabeth Taylor, 3. Pearl, 4. Father Figure, 5. Largest Mollusk, 6. Ruin The Conference Bannquet Table, 7. Actually Romantic, 8. WA Wi$h Li$t, 9. Wood, 10. CENSORED!, 11. Siphon, 12. The Life of a Showfish (Feat. Sabrina Carpenter Ant).

That’s SO cute! I see that the pattern has 3 sizes…is that the biggest? I think I need to make one for my mom (with the pom poms of course)

I’m not sure how aware they were. They made our mixed flock egg layers seem like super geniuses. They were basically chicken boobs on legs

We had a backyard flock growing up for eggs. They were fine. Then we bought “meat bird” chicks one year. Shudder. Their bodies grew soooo fast and top heavy that they could barely walk at maturity. Never again
