The BMJ journal Archive of Disease in Childhood has just published the epidemiological study done by York university that was commissioned as part of the Cass review into gender clinics in the UK.

It contains some STARTLING (and yet, unsurprising) revelations. 1/n

I think the issue is that Labour are assumed to be lying about banning conversion therapy trans people (given that the NHS is forcing conversion therapy on trans people right now) and improving GRCs whilst also implementing the Cass review. The Cass review wants conversion therapy.

At one time in my life I wouldn't donate to fundraisers if I only had a little to give. It seemed too small to make a difference so why bother? Now I know that goals get achieved when LOTS of people give those small amounts! Let's smash this hay drive one $8 bale at a time. 🍂

2025: CEOs earn 122 x more than average worker

What's this? The data suggests the far-right agitators who talk London and the UK down are wrong?
london.gov.uk
Some politicians and commentators continue to denigrate London and talk our great city down, but the facts show a very different picture.

The number of homicides in London in the first nine months of 2025 was lower than in any year since monthly records began 22 years ago.
A graphic reporting: fewest homicides in London since monthly records began. The number of homicides in London between January to September 2025 is the lowest in the first 9 months of any year since monthly records began in 2003.

Grieving bingus report. Francie is doing okay but she definitely misses Fergus. He was like her kind, gentle dad. She’s keeps looking for him and has been extra clingy with me. 💔
Photo of my fluffy white cat Francie curled up by my side with one four leg draped across my chest like a hug.

Hoping GB Energy can give a leg up to this; www.bbc.com/future/artic...

There's one under construction in Greater Manchester and another two larger ones planned; Scotland and North Lincolnshire.

It's not just about increasing our renewables capacity, we need to increase our LDES too.
The liquid air alternative to fossil fuels
An overlooked technology for nearly 50 years, the first liquid air battery facility is finally set to power up in 2026.

Both knife crime and homicides are falling in London. This is thanks to our record funding in the Met, targeted police action and vital prevention work through London’s VRU. But there is still much more to do, which is why we won’t let-up in our work to build a safer London for everyone.
A graphic reporting homicides fall by more than a third since 2019.

Mahmood really needs to put on her big girl trousers and accept she's on the wrong side of history, before reversing course post haste. I doubt she will though.

I do hope you are able to successfully convince the chancellor to double the online gambling levy & increase the banking surcharge back up to 8%. The extra £3.9 billion will more than cover the cost of removing the two child limit on benefits. Wishing you the best in your deputy leadership campaign.

Because of the fact that Slough is drawing on more electricity that it can receive from renewables and, causing net zero to go into reverse, I believe the site should have to generate as much from renewables as it needs in electricity, over the course of a year.

Surrey has never elected a Labour MP, despite 80,000+ votes being casted for Labour there at the last GE. Kent hadn't elected a Liberal MP for the best part of 100 years.

Bonkers.

There are dozens of safe seats in the UK that have been held by the same party for 100+ years.

There are millions of voters who've never had the representation they asked for.

We can keep waiting. Or we can change our Victorian voting system. What do you prefer?

Very informative discussion with Gordon Brown and the leading child poverty charities yesterday about the urgent need to lift the 2-child benefit cap.

Doing so would lift half a million children out of poverty.
