9fax has spent years campaigning against train line upgrades and now they have the audacity to print this?

Please.

Keep hold of your timetable: Metro Tunnel is spectacular, but it won’t transform Melbourne yet
The opening of the $15 billion underground train line deserves celebration, but it won’t be a game changer without more frequent services and continued investment.

This guy and his supporters call the NY millionaire i mean mayor who just went on a very public love in with Trump at the white house “hope”.

I mean come on.
This man’s values are based in power, greed and division. They are so far removed from the values of the Australian people.
We need a government that has the courage to stand up to him, reject his racism, reject US bases and forge an independent peaceful path for Australia.

Given how shit both the mainstream and ”independent” medias coverage is on anything Vic labor can you blame them?

Good to see the fed Greens following vic labors lead.

This should be law and it probably will be soon enough.

This whole thread is about houses, no mention of apartments, units or townhouses.

Seems nimbyish tbh.
House prices are forecast to increase by 9 percent next year on top of more than 6% this year, which will only worsen unless more pre-emptive action by APRA is taken.

Remember when Barnaby and Abbot tried to ban these?

Only for women and girls they had no problem with men and boys having access to it.

This is great! Better for us as a country if the libs/nats are kept far far away from it.

And politically its been ahot minute since the Greens secured a win and Dolly P knows they need some.
VERY heartening to hear the gov is in final negotiations with The Greens over EPBC reforms.

Any deal with the Coalition will be a disaster for the environment.

Just saw a video of a Brisbane based politician talking about Australia’s housing crisis. Whats interesting is despite that person being in parliment for over a decade they have never raised this as an issue 🤨

Controversial take: Framing the gov of the day meeting with the x bench as “a desperate attempt” is childish and gross language.

Politicians should work together to pass legislation, its neither weak nor desperate for them to do so.

Fucking weird language.
Anthony Albanese is meeting with the leaders of the Greens and the Coalition in a desperate last-ditch attempt to pass Labor's environmental reforms before the end of the week. Oh, and a new report says houses have never been more expensive (as if we didn't already know).

I don't necessarily disagree with our economically conservative friend here.

But do you know who will? The very rich and very powerful MEU Who represent workers in that industry.

Not that Zali will be a fan of unions.
Zali Steggall says it’s time to stop pretending gas is needed, as gas companies are taking us for a ride.
“Australia does not have a gas shortage problem. We have lots of gas.”

An apartment similar to mine just sold in my building for the exact same price i paid 2.5 years ago.

Dont let grifters convince you that lmi waivers for 1st homeowners are pushing prices up.

5 apartments have sold in my 10 apartment building in the last 2.5 years - all of them are now owner occs
Some owner-occupiers just bought the mirror version of our townhouse for an amount that (adjusted for inflation) is about what we paid 8 years ago.

Victoria gets shit done.
