I’ve been trying to find ways to articulate my hatred of AI-generated music that won’t come across as snobbish, but most of what I have to say about it can be boiled down to this:
None of the artists I like in any genre, regardless of era, make music that can be accurately predicted by a computer.

My Stranger Things take is that S1 caught lightning in a bottle between the cool end of 80s nostalgia (modular synths, D&D), a compelling second act for Winona Ryder's career, plus Matthew Modine and David Harbour. The show then steered into an unwatchable but profitable nostalgia humping ditch
