Every day, Mike Johnson blatantly lies right to the faces of the Capitol Hill press.

And every day they just take it.

Adelita Grijalva now holds the record for longest delay between winng a special Congressional election and being sworn into office.

Why the delay from Mike Johnson?

Perhaps it's because Grijalva would cast the final vote needed to release the Epstein files.

Letter to the Editor:

It’s the People’s House, yet the people were caught completely off guard finding a pile of rubble where the East Wing once stood. This is truly symbolic to our country’s current state.
Letters: The demolition of the East Wing is an assault on the People’s House
We the people run this country, and yet we’ve been left in the dark during its governance for the past 10 months.

More than 47 million Americans — including one in five children — don’t have reliable, affordable access to nutritious food. And as the cost of living skyrockets, more families are depending on SNAP benefits, or food stamps, to put food on the table.

House Republicans have been missing for a month while public servants work without pay, health care premiums surge and working families suffer.

It’s time for them to come back to Washington and do the job they were elected to do.

In a new Gallup poll in the US, 12.4% of adults said that they'd taken GLP-1 drugs for weight loss.

15% in women, and 9% in men.

I'd have guessed half as much, but I guess I'm a year behind the times.

I’m thankful to the San Jose city council for approving this contract for Caltrans to pay the city to help address encampments on state rights-of-way in the city.

With both state and local leaders rolling up our sleeves, we can make sure no Californian is left behind.

The largest war ship in the world has been moved to the Caribbean, along with other ships, bombers, amphibious vehicles and more.

That’s a lot of firepower to stop small vessels carrying drugs.

It looks a lot more like preparation for war.

Congress needs to get involved before it’s too late.

An estimated 15.7 million workers use SNAP. It’s a lifeline for those in low-wage jobs.

Meanwhile, CEOs are paid 280x as much as the typical worker.

Don’t be angry at workers for using food stamps.

Be angry at the corporations paying them so little that they need them.

Vladeck: Even if you accept the predicate that these drug cartels are foreign terrorist organizations, that still doesn’t get you anywhere close to legal authority to use military force. They’re trying to blur and sort of collapse the distinction between two regimes we have…

Independent bookstores are donating to food banks and organizations that help with food insecurity.

They are not the same.

Powerful and moving interview with Virginia Giuffre's brother Sky and sister-in-law Amanda:

"He's just Andrew. He's no longer a prince... This normal girl, from a normal family, has taken down a prince. We are so proud of her."

"She was extraordinary. She did the extraordinary."
