Out of curiousity - did Gumroad do anything wrong?

(We don't use them, we have our own shop, but two of the artists we use use Gumroad and have inertia there, so -- completely ignorant if they've become problematic.)

What he'd love about farming if he bothered to research it, is that the H2A visa program is so widely abused that the Biden Administration increased enforcement of anti-slavery provisions because H2A visa temp worker firms skirted them.

Trump undid that and cut visa-worker pay rates by $3/hour.

It's #portfolioday! I'm presently a senior narrative designer at Blizzard, but before that I was at Bungie and Arkane. I wrote for the Writer's Guild award-nominated Dishonored: Death of the Outsider, and a bunch of critically acclaimed seasons and expansions in Destiny 2.

If buying an American-made game that's printed and assembled in the US matters to you as a consumer: We buy some components made in China (plastic bits, mostly) and the rest (and all printing) in the US.

Why doesn’t Cards Against Humanity print its game in the US? It’s complicated.

Price, quality, speed, and relationships all matter.

As of tonight, I have validated (as in passed a lint check) and correct (it has all the tags expected) XML for the Squadron Strike to Starmada auto-converter.

Dan Kast will, no doubt, take this as an excuse to change how Starmada works...
