Had a two player gaming session today, so I brought these games along!

How did I do with my selection?
Just got an email through about a new game based on Hercules and the 12 Labours, and the artwork has me crying 😂
Do you think it should be open information how many times a board game has been played at the time of being reviewed?
Liking the cap and matching coloured top!

heyyyyyy did you know i like doing podcasts? have me on! i can talk to you about designing trick takers, or publishing small batch games, or indie games night market, or going to japan for tokyo game market, or learning japanese, or seeing 2-4 movies in the theater a week, or nerds gummy clusters...
Your existence has created so many countless moments of joy in the world!
Forgive me if I'm being dumb, but why bother with the first race if there's no points and it's only the winner of the second that determines victory? 😅
Thank you Japan, I had a wonderful time! 🇯🇵
No big deal, just one of the most beautiful pictures I've ever taken in my entire life 🥹

In Kenroku-en in Kanazawa, Japan
Ooh I really love this philosophy on design, it's simple but perfect.
Gonna toot my own horn and say this about me too, but only because once, after teaching a group at the cafe I work at, they suggested I become a teacher...

...and they were a group of teachers. They even offered me a job!
I think teaching games is a skill and, to toot my own horn, I think I'm pretty good at it. My formula? 70% knowledge, 20% energy 10% being loud.
Picked this up in Japan as I've heard nothing about it and couldn't find anything on BGG or the Internet and it's just been released here. I love the OG so hoping this is good too 🤞
Hmm, I was chatting to a friend before I left who gave me an itinerary that I am using as my base, it includes a good chunk of the central part of the country, and goes s far west as Hiroshima, but I'm quite flexible and will go with the flow!
I certainly hope to, thanks Ross!
Greetings from Japan!
日本からこんにちは!

This trip is directly from my bucket list. Also I'm doing it solo!
I made exactly the same mistake as you here haha
I LOVE puzzmo! Favourite regular games are Memoku, the crossword (cos it's one I can actually finish!) and FlipArt
Yeah I recall one employee told me as such, since then I've just tried to put them in my hold luggage. Never realised that about MtG though!
Guarantee they've played a board game before and enjoyed it too

“The best game of all of these I’ve used in the class is Votes for Women by Tory Brown,” says Fishman. “You get to learn about both the people who were supporting women’s suffrage, and some of those unsavory characters why they didn’t support it...”
