The Supreme Court’s majority right wing indicated in oral arguments that they think racism is over on the same day that the vice president defended the “I love Hitler” guy, and that the NYT reported that the current administration plans to accept only white, English-speaking refugees.

Re Olivia Nuzzi “slut shaming”: journalism is a whites only game, it gets whiter every day, and it’s amazing how poorly one can act as a white journalist (critiquing sexting w a source is NOT “slut shaming”) and fall up. Meanwhile, every nonwhite LGBTQ journo is told “Need Not Apply”

I was at CUNY Grad Center when Cuomo proposed severe cuts in 2016. It was very scary & done as a bad faith negotiating ploy to get the university to cut anyhow. It told me about the quality of his character. He was a bad governor (he resigned in disgrace BY CHOICE), he’s a bully, & a bad person.

CUNY is the nation’s largest urban public university system and an engine of social mobility for the city's working class.

But like so many of our public institutions, Andrew Cuomo subject it to years of disinvestment and neglect as Governor. That record cannot be forgotten.

New: Mayor Adams told senior staffers today he has received at least one offer for a post-City Hall job, per four sources.

ICE targeted an apartment building near my home. Masked agents in unmarked cars. I've said this before. Democratic Governors & Mayors need to order their local police depts to arrest any & all unidentified & masked alleged ICE agents.

This is divorced from reality. Many officers support Mamdani because he’s promised to increase social outreach so police aren’t tasked with responding as if they were social workers. This is something Cuomo and conservatives can’t comprehend.

NEW: There’s a disaster unfolding in Alaska right now. And no major network is covering it.

The remnants of Typhoon Halong battered western Alaska overnight. Homes, with people in them, have literally been swept into the Bering Strait.

At least 20 are missing. No comment from any federal agency.
