hi 👋 Updated! Here for cats, music, food, travel, & nature. I know the world is on fire & my way of staying sane is to find beauty & light here and outside. Newly into photography & am loving my fujifilm xT5. Here to connect with all of you in a non-creepy way! Still distracted by alpacas & taters.

Apropos of nothing, when did we let the Germans pass us by in potato salad-making? We let our guard down after WWII?

Craving potato salad. It’s soup weather and yet I’m over here thinking about potatoes.

Funny thing, we paid for a whale excursion in Juneau and did see them. However, we saw more whales spontaneously while chilling on the ship watching the world go by! So many humpbacks and orcas! Was so magical ✨ We also saw ton of otters, one bear, and mountain goats while on the ship.

Town of Juneau. Tiny waterfalls are seen coming down the cliffs Glacier bay. At 1 o’clock you can see an ice cave. The emerald colored water was incredible Beautiful passage into Glacier Bay Glacier bay

Getting new evidence in that perhaps his claims of not being spoiled enough are untrue.
Super fluffy fancy cat

Percy had his human call me to tell me that he isn’t spoiled enough & I need to visit. What are your cat’s favorite toys/treats so I can do this spoiling properly.

I didn’t see the last post. The world is harsh right now. Keep shining, friend! ✨

The beauty of soft lines, of meandering lines...

#photography #landscapephotography #landscape #travel #nature #naturephotography #bluesky #sunrise #sunset
There is an infinite beauty to moving water, waiting to be discovered! The purple of a winter evening's twilight is softly reflected in the fast moving waters of the St. Lawrence River, Montreal, Canada. Ripples of sand on the top crest of a coastal dune in Namibia catch the last light of day, while wind blown sand further down glows golden as it is lifted into the light. A harmonious interplay of lines, shape, textures and tones, as the first light of day touches the ridge lines of a coastal dune. It was mesmerizing to see how the scene transformed as the light crept into the shadows. For a short lived moment, the soft light of the morning sun draws beautiful, dreamy bands of satin across the tips of these otherwise inconspicuous dunes in Namibia's mesmerizing Sossusvlei region.

Glimpses from my walk along the Carquinez Straight this evening. I was bummed I didn’t see any tarantulas!
Seen at the beginning of my walk. All lies, none were seen Father/son on e-bikes Taking in the view. First flat-earther, I’ve met. I have so many questions. Train passing by along the Carquinez Straight

This western bluebird gives me the once over last weekend. Have a great day! #Birds #Photography #Nature
Sitting atop a white globe light cover is a bluebird staring directly at the viewer. She has a light blue cap, whitish throat and abdomen. She also has a light brown chest. In the background are blurry leaves that are backlit—almost giving the impression of green lights.
