Last bit of energy was used to put lights on the tree. Hoping it can decorate itself while I sleep.

Happy Turkey taquito day! I will be posting all things taquitos once I get the energy to start this day! On the menu today, Turkey taquitos, turkey enchiladas, chile verde, sopa de fideo, guacamole, and beans (didn’t have the energy for homemade this year). Photos to follow later today.

Thanksgiving has become my favorite holiday. It’s the only holiday where taters are required! It’s also the only collective time that we’re all grateful. I hold this gratitude in sync with grief for those no longer with us. Both can exist together. Wishing you all much gratitude & taters ✨

Widow of one of my favorite Little League dads posted a “Happy Anniversary” message to her late husband on IG. He took his own life ~3 years ago. He was such a kind and gentle dude.
