It's actually pretty upsetting that once every few year Amazon realizes they want to get into anime so they grab up the rights to some of the biggest shows then never give them a physical release even thought they are largely a retailer of physical goods.
"The Ghost in the Shell" anime series will stream exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.

I am starting a studio! We are small and scrappy and have no money. Why am I doing this? Because the only ones who can protect art are the ones who value it. Disney using AI? Yuck. Netflix buying WB? Also yuck. In 10 years what is even going to be left.
