It actually occurs to me; I never really thought about WHY frogs were one of the "plagues" that struck Egypt

Do frogs eat crops? That's covered by the plague of locusts, so feels redundant. Do they carry disease? Not really something I've heard about frogs/toads

Is it JUST a plague of annoyance?
