A lot more people should know about the bravery Marimar Martinez displayed in the midst of Chicago’s occupation and the murder of two observers in MSP. They tried to kill her, shooting her 5 times, and it’s a miracle she’s alive to push for transparency like this after being persecuted by the DOJ.

The relevance and dominance of thinly veiled corporate PR publications masking as "tech journalism" is a problem that's hard to fight: Cause the shallow and pro-industry narrative is what gives those publications access (to hardware, tests, interviews, etc.). But holy shit does this all suck.

I would love to say that it's economic conditions that drove these men to be ICE, but that would be too generous.
