Highlight for me, a friend and I played this many nights and weekends until completion, great game then and still fun to play, difficult yes but ultra engaging and rich in gameplay and mystery.

QTeletextMaker v0.8-beta released. The Level 2.5 #teletext editor now renders DRCS characters and slightly improved diacritical'd G0 capital letters.

Grab a Windows exe from the zip at github.com/gkthemac/QTe... (mind the SmartScreen warnings!) or compile the source on Linux with #Qt6 and CMake.

A Level 2.5 teletext page with a dark green background on which there a spread of five playing cards. The top-most card on the right is the ten of clubs, the cards underneath are the jack of clubs, queen of clubs, king of clubs and the ace of clubs.

The clubs on the cards are not blocky but are high resolution images courtesy of DRCS character definitions.

It's done! I have just released the Compendium version of #Elite for the #Acorn #Electron.

This massively enhanced version of the original game contains pretty much every feature of #BBCMicro Elite, but on the Electron. Just add 16K of sideways RAM.

I use TinyTake, it works pretty well for recording emulator windows with sound, and I refuse to update it in case of any changes that might netf it.

After 10 years - and the reason I started my art and my art program to solve this - today I finally set out to do what I wanted - in code. A poster fell off the wall one day that I bought. As I sat on the bed looking at the wall I thought 'Could the Acorn GXR Rom re-create that?'. I have arrived.
