That song 'She Said' by The Beatles is so clever. When you break it down. The way the timing moves around from 3/4 to 4/4 captures the essence of the moment of that very weird conversation. It's all very disjointed. We've all been at a party when something weird is said by someone!

The Maple Leaf Rag is mind-blowing enough to try to understand.
Then I discovered that 3 years ago people put up these AI videos that turn these tunes into videos that show the fingers playing the notes!! How on earth does A.I do this!
What a world.

I heard at a state school in London the kids don't get any I.T lessons. None on programming e.t.c
What a travesty and talk about shocking! Think of the Sinclair and BBC micro days. The way we all experimented with computers. It was a joy.

Maybe this is the one use A.I can impact kids and teach them

Can't believe Steve Cropper dying didn't even make top 10 BBC articles.
What a legend of a guitarist he was. So only Booker T left now.

Bluesky seems to be flooded with pictures of blokes showing their abs
Not that I am complaining of course but it makes you wonder if they are even real!

I run all my stuff on a Mac Pro from 2013. It's really ancient! It's really great the new plugins will still run on it. I appreciate developers who take the time to optimise their vsts.
I like using macs. I find the noise is the biggest thing for me. It's whisper quiet. It makes a big difference.

Well they got me on Black Friday.
I bought Cherry Audio's Sinevibes VST. Always though this looked interesting.
Also finally I got Arturia's Pigments at a really good price. Often voted no1 synth for people. Lovely wavetable synth.
Also a few VCV modules and 'Insta Composer'. An AI Midi composer.

That new Waldorf Protein synth looks well nice. They know how to draw you in. It sounds really great. 320 Euros.
Too many synths and not enough cash!
I like the 8 bit aliasing on the new synth....it sounds really great. I got their PPG VST on Black friday for 29 dollars.
Xmas costs so much!

Have you ever come across this modular software? It's really interesting. I like the animated look of it. The developer is very on the case. It's got a subscription as well.
I fiddled around with it a bit tonight. It makes some great sounds.
You can run it in a web browser

I've just come across this old bit of software for XP/Windows 7. Wren modular sequencer. It's mindblowing all the modules in this thing. I reminds me of Nord Modular. People spend years writing apps then they vanish away. It's extremely comprehensive and has just about every tool you would need

Golden Lady by Stevie Wonder has the most mesmerising chords in it. It breaks a lot of rules and takes you on so many journeys and suprises through the song. What a master he is writing a song like this. Alot of major 9ths.
To think he had that near death car accident then this came out of him.

Every year that rolls by gives us useful information during the cold snap. 'Close your curtains to save money'. Well colour me pink.
The internet is so awful nowadays isn't it. Like scraping the bottom of the barrell.

Wow I didn't realise Dr John had his finger shot off. Blimey. So he became a piano player because of it. Life is so interesting .....you can't predict it ...but bad things that happen to you can bring good fortune.

Well I didn't think much of that new A.I song that went to no 1...Walk my Walk....having said that it's the start of it. I want to see them bring back Jimi Hendrix and Miles Davis as holograms and do that long famed album they were meant to work on. That would be a good use of A.I!

I'm starting to get much more advanced with VCV Rack now. Read the youtube description of how this all works.

To me, VCV represents the cutting edge of what computers and music can do. It's un-limitless You just have to know how to unlock it and it takes patience.

VCV Rack is such a rabbit hole. A tabla instrument that is being triggered by probability. The cutoff is manipulated by attractors. The 303 was programmed using sample n hold. I didn't play the 303 patterns in - the S/hold generated sequences.

The internet is very interesting I was thinking....a guy over in Canada I didn't know helped me a few years ago get my first art show ready in VR. I couldn't have done it without him. Then I never heard again. Maybe he died. It's that selfless helping someone with your time. It is a ripple effect.
