Halligan, who had no prosecutorial experience, was named after U.S. Attorney Erik Siebert, was forced out amid pressure from the Trump administration to file charges against Comey and James.

"The Attorney General of the United States has set a new low for this committee," Whitehouse said.

Shouldn't doing what Pam Bondi is accusing James Comey of doing be a scandal that would make her have to resign? In her case it's is easily proven that she lied to the committee.

This is horrifying.

My kid interviewed the famed attorney Rob Bilott for a high school/community college honours essay he wrote about PFAS. Rob has worked tirelessly to expose the dangers of them and the corporations who've lied about releasing them into the environment.

Efforts now hamstrung. 👿

„Quiet, Piggy!“ Just think about that for a minute, and what it means to live in a time when a President can assault a woman in public like that without any consequences.
It‘s quite a testimony to the age of regression we live in.

Administration's policies cut deeper into farmers’ livelihoods, not just squeezing profits but also reshaping how farms survive through renewed tariffs on agricultural products, visa restrictions on farm workers, reduced farm subsidies, and favoritism toward South American agricultural competitors.
Farmers – long Trump backers – bear the costs of his new policies
Big pro-Trump bloc hit hard by tariffs, restricted immigration and slashed renewable energy subsidies.

According to court filings, Meta studied solutions to child-safety problems, calculated their impact on growth, and then allegedly shelved the fixes for years.

Meta had its own evidence that its product presented a public health risk, and chose the path that protected revenue, not people.

Finally, we hear actual legal terms. Thank you @vonderleyen.ec.europa.eu

As someone who studied EU Policy, I appreciate this.

My question is though - how stable is any ceasefire if Russia is entitled to keep what they occupied even if the change to actual, legal UA borders isn’t recognized?

2 hours later they figure out that many Trump supporters with millions of followers are posting from other countries. Surprise!
That "feature" is now gone.
