Remember that when some electoral candidate is offering to cut your taxes.
Taxes are a way for all of us to get 'volume discounts' on health care/transportation systems/education/infrastructure.

I'm familiar with such practices. Old time grt granddad and his siblings made a practice of it in politics. Home in evenings to chortle who'd they'd fleeced.👀

How non-partisan, uninfluenced is the judge? After seeing the kind of crap in the US, judge's homes being burned, judges threatened, I wouldn't put it past some of these RW ABn nutbars to try pulling the same stunts now they're patted on the head by Smith.

Had an interesting conversation today with a contractor who sold a multigenerational business to a private equity firm, who quickly…ran it into the ground and declared bankruptcy, at which people the guy who sold it hired his old employees back and reconstituted under a new name.
