FWIW I believe that this play existed before Trump.

This was always a pretend recovery since the SVB collapse with no other discernable end game besides inflating the bubble to buy time for the rich to consolidate further assets into fewer hands.

I think the United States is playing a game of chicken with them on this.

The "soft landing" is a charade. The Fed & US think they can withstand the impact while China can't. They think that's the best way to drop China off the board Economically.

Id say China is better prepared for the crash tho.
