Become okay with criticizing politicians who are doing harmful things, especially if you like them.

Course correction is why the GOP has such consistant messaging. Yes, their messaging sucks, but if their constituents are mad at them, they call them and tell them to adjust their messaging.

Unlike in Missouri and other states, if North Carolina Republicans redistrict, there is nothing Democrats can do about it. The only hope of stopping this is through protests and phone calls…and then if it passes, organizing in such a way that we overcome the new maps.

States like New York and Colorado should be getting their 2028 ducks in a row ASAP.

With today’s redistricting news in North Carolina, it is even more imperative for Democrats in states that can also legally redistrict before 2026 (Illinois, Oregon and especially Maryland, per pundits) and demand their State Representatives and State Senators do the same.

One state where new mid-decade redistricting maps were considered all-but-guaranteed was in Florida.

But, the Florida State Senate is sounding a bit hesitant at the moment.

I'm sure the caving will commence eventually, but until then Florida voters should keep calling their State Reps.
