Christine Smout, 24, reportedly felt her blood run cold and saw the colour drain from her face in her reflection as she contemplated the prospect of continuing the course of driving lessons she began of her own free will, and actually pays money for.
AuDHD woman’s driving lesson looming on horizon like macabre spectre of death
An AuDHD woman was forced to reckon with the transience of existence this morning when she remembered halfway through brushing her teeth that she has a driving lesson in three days, it has been…

Winding down after a disheartening stream. I hope sleep comes soon - tomorrow will be better, I'm sure.

I shared my story with the BBC — about homelessness, stigma, and finding stability through online work. Hoping it helps someone feel less alone.

Interview starts around 12 minutes in. This was quite scary!

It'd be weird for CPTSD survivors to experience what we have, & NOT struggle w/ hopelessness or suicidal ideation. The world struggles to accept or respond to that very common symptom w/ realism & support-- but it's real important WE not shame ourselves for it or overreact to it.

Doaa has been vetted by the Guardian newspaper and several people on here. In spite of this, moderation he deletes her account at least once per week.

Please help her .

Pictures to preserve her post due to the genocidal prejudice and regular banning of Palestinians on here
Just realised This Time is not new lol

Dad’s books are full of empathy, common sense, and a healthy suspicion of the powerful. But at its heart his work is also about how systems keep people poor while pretending it’s their own fault. So I hope Kemi’s taking notes as well as reading the jokes.
Kemi Badenoch claiming Terry Pratchett as her favourite author is wild
I absolutely love it and also Hereditary (same director) but it can be quite marmite for some people! I find hereditary scary, not quite as scary as The Sound Of Music though 😜 x
Have you tried Midsommar? Also £8 for one single use mask is disturbing, wow.x
I'm doing big Halloween themed celebrations soon and want to do a horror movie watch-a-long as part of that, for example, and I'm quite sure lots of horror fans who enjoy nsfw would have fun watching along and chatting etc but I haven't found them yet.
I've been really enjoying the new Alan Partridge series this week. Coogan has me crying with laughter at times. I think i maybe enjoy This Time even more than I enjoyed I'm Alan Partridge!

I'm so relieved you've got away for the night. I hope you can rest & reset a little. I'm really sorry you are living under such horrendous circumstances. You deserve a lot more in life 💜

I have email [email protected] reach out any time but no pressure I promise x
If you need emergency services but cant call, there is silent solution where you press 55 after dialing 999 and they know you cant speak but need help. You can do a text service too but text register to 999 first. Then text ambulance + your location + what's happening
Let him lie to you while u get away to safe place (bedroom? Garden?) Get urgent things together, consider calling the police. If you can't call police call 111 - get to hospital, tell the triage nurse you are a victim of domestic abuse & cannot go back. You are physically unwell enough to be seen x
If you agree, they will refer you to their team (could be local refuge, social services.) You will not be forced to leave! Is there anyone who could attend with you? I wish I could, i am so far away :(
