“Israel” killed most of the people who died on October 7th and it killed most of the hostages who died in Gaza. But all we hear in the West is Hamas, Hamas, Hamas, who, under international law, have the right to resist occupation by force. Any real peace will not include “Israel” at all.

Lot of people treated a genocide of a people, sponsored by their own country, as an annoying pet issue that needed to be shelved after the killing as complete or pushed aside for other political problems. And pretended that it was just too complicated to engage with.

I don’t say this ‘cause I think Krakoa was “bad” (HoXPoX rules!), or because I have anything positive to say about how “From the Ashes” & beyond has played out.

But, Krakoa was clearly a story that needed a beginning, middle, & end. And the story became a victim of its own initial success.

A lot of fans who miss Krakoa and want to go back… are just the new generation of people with 90s nostalgia, or Claremont/Byrne nostalgia, etc. If anything, it should’ve ended sooner.

Apparently the Boom! Studios panel at NYCC announced a Larry Hama comic on the way called The Center Holds.

But, I only knew about it because someone on a Discord server I’m on posted about it, and a mention is buried in Boom!’s Instagram stories.
