Exactly! Franken should study this! At the very same State Fair!
I will never forget the two people I knew in real life who earnestly explained to me that Franken resigning put the seat in jeopardy and that it would ruin Minnesota’s senate seniority, something that I a Pennsylvanian should care deeply about
Bluesky's got Al Franken dead enders now. What, do you think he would've gotten the J6 crowd to disperse with a really good joke?
I know they made a great show of enforcing purity when it came to Senator Franken. I hope this one works out better, 'cuz we all know how far THAT got us.
Gonna just spam them with Tina Smith and the firefighters photos til they go away
He knows who he wants to take him home
The shots from Missoula are unreal

this is very kind of you! but also credit for No Kings really starts with the @50501movement.bsky.social and their No Kings on Presidents Days demonstrations in February!!!
I’m going to send this to everyone who asks me if it should be some longer synonym
as someone who would be on said Soros payroll if it existed, I can confirm!
Always good to check in with Dana post-protest!
Now that #NoKings 2.0 is behind us, here's a quick 🧵 into the data we collected in DC on Saturday to start thinking about what the day-of-action can tell us about this wave of Resistance to Trump2.0 and its policies. The day turned out millions across the US in over 2700 locations across the US:
i love how many more syllabels "this protest against America" has then No Kings
I get a lot of emails about this and it's like ok there are like four of you out of the 7 million who participated and were just fine with the name. Also if people liked their local king, they could just do a different name! Like in London. My fave was Hawaii's "No European Kings"
The irony of this is that it was completely volunteer led and staff supported by people working our nonprofit jobs, like say me! and we're just not that expensive
I was literally talking at No Kings about the sermon at the synagogue I had just left to come here with another Jewish person and then someone else literally said "Did somebody say synagogue?" and it was of course someone else we knew
Ha the end of the clip where the reporter thought he was done and he goes on to repeat the “please don’t put in the newspaper that I’m a king” routine
Trump on No Kings: "It's a joke. I looked at the people. They are not representative of this country. And I looked at all the brand new signs I guess paid for by Soros and other radical left lunatics. We're checking it out. The demonstrations were very small. And the people were whacked out."
I discovered Philly doesn’t have a lot of late night delivery options when I worked late so I could have used even a 12 million dollar buffet. Shoutout to Circles Thai!
yeah it was a $16,682,587.00 buffet but it really felt like more of a $13,682,587.00 buffet
According to this chart going around MAGA circles, the No Kings demonstrations were funded with more than a quarter-billion dollars — but I’m unclear whether this is just for this weekend’s events or also for the one in June. Or, perhaps just numbers pulled out of thin air.
Our @indivisible internal estimate was smack in the middle! 7 million +
Always a thrill that our own estimates line up with this !
Good evening. We estimate that between 4.2 and 7.6 million people turned out for the No Kings Day demonstrations held around the country on Saturday. This makes Oct 18 very likely the biggest single-day U.S. protest event since 1970. www.gelliottmorris.com/p/second-no-...
Second "No Kings Day" protests likely the largest single-day political demonstration since 1970, with 4.2-7.6 million participants
Here are the initial results from our crowdsourced crowd-counting estimates

You should ! I really do use your instruction I never thought it would be in 306 character texts
1000 people is the population of my home town nearby!
~1,000 at No Kings in Menomonie WI, population 15,000 and change. Reddish county, purple state.
