Games were loaded from 5 1/2 inch disks that stored 1.2 MB. Now? I have a MICRO SD CARD THAT CAN STORE 2 TERABYTES! It is the size of my THUMBNAIL! Do you want some perspective on that storage? That is THREE CONTINUOUS YEARS of music in an average bitrate. THAT IS INSAAAAANE!

The CPU of my computer - not my hard drive, video card, or RAM, but the CPU itself - has a storage cache that is larger than the entire hard drive of the first computer my family owned.

But look at them now. The speedometer on my bike has more power than ENIAC, which took up a full classroom. A standard college calculator (TI-84) has more processing power and storage than the computing modules that put people on the moon!

As the cosmic odometer turns over and I look back at my childhood, this is your reminder of how insane computers were and are now. We flattened and electrocuted sand, and through physics, mathematics, and (probably) several occult offerings, we have calculator that we can use for almost anything.

We did it :D
Fight was tense and fun - had to walk a tightrope of keeping the Key Item away as the BBEGs repeatedly downed our fighter every round to try and steal it from her. We managed to tilt the scales enough to get her up and moving, and then she unleashed hell on them.

(This is a week earlier than planned. The BBEG made the mistake of appearing moments after the penultimate fight to monologue before we would recover. Our artificer decided they were wonderfully grouped for a lightning bolt. They took offense to that)
