From the latter group, we have parties like the German Greens, who at this point I feel need no further introduction.

They are big proponents of a proactive, hawkish, and strengthened NATO.

They helped to explode Germany's energy prices and provided fodder for opponents of decarbonization.

I should point out that Fidesz was part of the push to associate "the crimes of communism" with Nazi crimes against humanity, and to place greater emphasis on the former.

This was before the traditional conservative parties of the EU decided they were too uncouth.

From the former camp, one example among very many is Filip Tirek, leader of a fascist "motorists' rights" party that just made it to the Czech Parliament for the 1st time.

He likes to brag on social media that he "always fuels up with 88 liters."

It's almost as bad as not knowing real history in the first place and believing the lies and whitewashed history told by the most anti-communist nation in history about communists.

It boggles my mind that the hammer and sickle is considered a socially acceptable symbol, but then braindead people probably find history difficult to digest.

As it should be socially acceptable.

It's difficult to decide which part of the coalition that gave us 'Black Ribbon Day' is more contemptible:

Is it the neo-Nazis who were impatient to drop their paper thin masks of humanity?

Or the bourgeois social liberal parties that empowered the former by legitimizing 'soft' Holocaust denial?

Tapping the sign again that Poilievre is better at this than the NDP, and the NDP should be fucking embarrassed.

it’s the symbol of the army that defeated the nazis, we love armies that defeat nazis

Most of the people who insist the hammer & sickle is as bad as the swastika were just trying to rehabilitate fascism.

Which is why a lot of them have gone on to join neo-Nazi "identitarian" parties.

The ones who genuinely believed in cosmopolitan liberalism have withered into irrelevance.

Why do you debase yourself?
Why do you demean yourself?
Why do you disrespect yourself?
By mocking people's physiques?
Instead of debating in good faith?
You make yourself look very petty.
Which indicates you're unserious.

I am not proud of how much weight I've put on but at least I go for walks, eat salads, and joined a gym.

What the fuck is this person doing about their glaring character defects and complete inability to write coherently, even in short bursts?

There's no quoted call to violence. No quotes at all from the offending speech and the University won't characterize the speech except to say it was "controversial?"

Just watched his whole 15-min pres. Had to ignore the odd histrionics of the woman who distributed the recording. I was waiting for him to say something violent, but it was a pretty mundane “organize the working class” thing.

Getting fired as a professor for professing. Terrifying.

Might as well just franchise out Brigham Young and Oral Roberts universities and shut all the rest down.
Gilead won't be needing any critical thinking in Big Brother's brave new world.
