At the time, the EPA administrator said he was eliminating "wasteful DEI and Environmental Justice grants."

Chicago Tribune: Greeley, who was born at Illinois Masonic hospital and is adopted, carries a copy of her passport just in case she runs into federal agents.

“I am Latina and I am a service worker,” Greeley said. “I fit the description of what they’re looking for now.”

During the encounter, Greeley said they told her she “doesn’t look like” a Greeley.

“They said this isn’t real, they kept telling me I’m lying, I’m a liar,” Greeley recalled. “I told them to look in the rest of my wallet, I have my credit cards, my insurance.”

Judge DENIES the DOJ's motion for a discovery order and says they must turn over discovery by the deadline Comey argued for.

Having reviewed the proposed discovery order submitted by the government, the Court
finds that it is substantively identical to the discovery order submitted by the Defendant with the
single exception of the date and scope of Rule 16(a) disclosures in Section I. Compare ECF 27-1
with ECF 30-1. Given that this matter is scheduled for a jury trial on January 5, 2026, it is critical
that the government moves expeditiously to provide Defendant with discovery under Rule 16(a).
Accordingly, it is hereby
ORDERED that the government’s Motion for Discovery Order is DENIED; it is further
ORDERED that the government shall provide Defendant with all discovery required under
Federal Rule of Criminal Procedure 16(a) by Monday, October 13, 2025. To the extent that the
parties cannot reach agreement with respect to the terms of a protective order by Monday, October
13, 2025, at 5:00 p.m., the Court shall promptly set a hearing to resolve any such dispute. Under
no circumstance shall the failure to reach agreement with respect to a protective order justify
withholding prompt disclosure of discovery to defense counsel for review.

It also reflects the assymetry in media. RW media trumpet every GOP/Trump achievement as a glorious success, because that is their job.

Actual journalists see puffing up those in power as the opposite of their job.

The hostage release is a reminder of how bad the Dems are at politics. Not only did Biden refuse to force this deal on Netanyahu & thereby help Harris win, but most people aren’t even aware that Biden got way more Israeli hostages (over 100) released with his 2023 ceasefire than Trump did with his.
