I don't think much of it is would be considered all-ages, since it's usually some brand of surreal horror with a trauma subtext, but I'm a coward, so I use the subtext and symbolism as a shield ... but you can take a look and evaluate. I did make this weird leather bird-person recently (far left)!

Gosh, it's a shame I couldn't make it into the Groundlings.

My comedy stylings are so strong, you know. I could have been on SNL by now ... or, like, Smosh. Well, not really, the production schedules would probably be too grueling for my broken brain ... but I'm, like, really funny.

I mean, it's weird that any of us exist at all ... like, the number of super unlikely things that had to happen to result in the existence of any living thing is mind boggling.

I guess what I am trying to say is that my horror ttrpg is a taut, revolutionary exploration of the Anthropic Principle.

The subtext being that my grandfather didn't survive an escape attempt, a nazi bullet to the jaw, and a secret stay in the back of typhoid war of a country hospital behind enemy line so y'all could NOT back my kickstarter ... I guess?

Look, my point in retelling that story is to demonstrate my stance on the "systems matter" debate, as an introduction to the section on the game's auxiliary systems, that stance being "auxiliary systems sort of matter, but core resolution mechanics matter ... less, but still matter a bit?"

Currently working on a quick-start doc for Shores Of Night (couldn't quite get it in time for KS launch due to severe burn out...which is still happening).

Is it acceptable to randomly launch into a page long story about how one's grandfather barely survived an escape from a Nazi POW camp in those?

I am not on wellbutrin - sertraline here - but I'm pretty sure revelations are more of a therapy / personal growth thing than a meds thing. I think the meds are just supposed to even out your baseline mood and anxiety to some moderate extent. Might make it slightly easier to have epiphanies though.

I am not gonna promote my Kickstarter today. I'm not feeling well physically or mentally, for oh-so-many reasons, and I just want to work on my creations (instead of doing all that marketing and admin shiz) and pretend that everything will somehow turn out fine eventually.
