Microsoft's head of AI doesn't understand why people don't like AI, and I don't understand why he doesn't understand because it's pretty obvious
Is it really "mindblowing" that people are skeptical of software that consistently doesn't do the things we're told it can do?

The Atticus Institute is a strong mockumentary horror. Really well done acting - everybody did a great job of capturing the "interviewee" feel, and Rya Kihlstedt made for an excellent possession victim. If the genre is up your alley, give it a go!

Spoke with a source who told me the call volume is so high, a call center for both Mastercard & Visa is bringing out pizza and ice cream so agents don’t quite amid the rush. Long waits are causing dropped calls.

What you’re doing is working. Call MC & Visa.

Let's say I'm a #writer (I am). Let's also say I want to go to conventions in a hail mary bid to develop a writing career (I do). What conventions should be on my radar if I'm into #ttrpg, #fantasy, and #horror kind of stuff?

The fact that itch posted this and not even an hour later I got a bunch of new sales proves how big it is when other people talk about your games.

It can literally be a life changing events.

When John Harper made a nice quote tweet about Breathless, hundreds of people looked at the game.

Paddington's producers, probably: "Alright, now, it's just a children's story about a talking bear. No need to put too much effort into it."

The Creative Team: "And we took that personally."

In self-interest but also general interest, folks: Black Friday is coming up, and small publishers/independent creators will always be a better choice than megacorps.

When the sales drop, please remember that!

Any recommendations for journaling-lite or journaling-adjacent solo ttrpgs?
Soliciting suggestions for solo journaling TTRPGs for someone who isn’t fully sold on the idea of journaling! They do enjoy strategy games and puzzles, so I’m looking for similar gateway games.
I’ve already recommended SPINE by @backwardsttrpg.bsky.social & Dead Belt by @acoupleofdrakes.bsky.social.

After playing my own solo #ttrpg a couple of times, I'm committing to a rework that will for sure help cut out a lot of complexity and bring the play flow a bit closer to the original idea.

An invoice amounting to $300 has not been paid to me, despite contacting the contractor multiple times. This is also the case for several other creators.

This is not the first time creators like me have been neglected. 🧵
