Those are not Chicago PD. That is not Chicago. That is Broadview. Those are Broadview PD. They are there because there are RESIDENCES across the street that have been inundated with tear gas for weeks. Brown uniforms are IL State Police. Prob requested by the Broadview Mayor to calm constituents.

A lot of these videos on the far N side I am seeing in private FB groups and from friends doing deportation defense. It is frustrating to see local people not including details that qualify as actual EVIDENCE. Not enough people have the SALUTE concept in mind.

I don't know that anyone got video of the incident at Clark and Lunt on Saturday. Sunday, there were two ICE vehicles all over Rogers Park, menacing/threatening defenders and they took a man at Touhy and Ridge. Broke his car window and snatched him without his ID. Sen Simmons followed up.

Some places where street vendors were abducted have little shrines set up but mostly we are involved in deportation defense and mutual aid network building. We often do not know the names of who has been grabbed.

It's clear you do not understand federalism or the judiciary. IL, CA, and OR have ALL sued where they had legal standing to do so. States cannot block federal law enforcement from executing their mission--however shitty. There will be prosecutions and class actions, but those take time.

There are lots of them with NO PLATES, front or back. People protesting at Broadview have taken pics of them entering and leaving the facility.

The wildly unpopular SAVE Act has been re-animated in a new "Show Your Papers" scheme. The Election Assistance Commission, at the behest of the Christian Nationalist "America First Legal Fdn" is proposing a new regulation. PLS submit your comment. A quick glance tells me this is being astroturfed.

Same 2 vehicles that stopped the cyclist on Clark and Ridge. Also saw vid from the driver of the car they had boxed in. Threatened to "yank" the occupants out and arrest them for following them.

From a back porch. This was in the middle of an alley, away from the El tracks. I've seen 2 videos of this from the women inside the vehicle they stopped and threatened BEFORE the guy in blue intervened and became their target.

They have been all over Rogers Park and Edgewater today. Very threatening of documenters--cornering and threatening them with arrest. Neighbors are NOT HAVING IT. Whistles, cameras, shouting at them everywhere.

They are also next door to you in Albany Park, Avondale, and Belmont Cragin. Tear gas was deployed on an Albany Park residential street an hour or so ago, because the neighbors came out to warn people and to scream at ICE.

The DHS website has been nothing short of white nationalist agit-prop for months. The WH website is also scandalously detached from reality and calling for violence against anyone NOT actively in support of militarizing our cities.
