I also find it kind of sad that people consider stories about how powerful human connection and caring about the people around you is to be boring or weak writing

some stories can just be about being kind, you don't *have* to include a villain arc
You were ahead of your time 😔🙏
I've had two fic ideas rotating in my mind like a microwave dish for months now but I can't get in the right mindset to write 😭

I'm considering commissioning a fic writer but idk if I can afford them
AO3 smut changed me as a person in so many ways, I'm glad that energy has found its way into mainstream now

'sex scenes are unnecessary' yeah, i come to art for the bluntness and efficient communication of an ikea manual
you mean the majority of people also finally realized that it is, in fact, crap?

Sex scenes are almost never "gratuitous" or "unnecessary." You learn things about characters and relationships during sex that you can't really learn any other way, such as whether they're into fisting.
Tell me your most unhinged literary opinion, as a little treat
Yes!! It's one of these many puzzle pieces of humans not being treated like actual living creatures that have biological and social needs. Most of us are not really able to live species appropriate lifestyles

Sleep is a biological necessity, and sleep deprivation has real physical, psychological, and social consequences that need to be taken seriously. The way our society treats it as slothful to sleep according to natural rhythms (including midday naps and variant chronotypes like night owls) is evil.
Do you have any extremely niche, but serious, ethical stances?

Sadly, things in Gaza are still terrible😞 — barely any aid is coming in, prices for basic food are sky-high, and Israhell keeps bombing from time to time. I’m asking everyone who sees this to pls share — this link is my only hope to keep studying & help my family survive.

if my hostility towards genAI puts you off, that's enough sign for me that you're not someone I would have wanted to interact with anyway ✌

Once again, if you absolutely need doorbell cams and security cameras then Reolink offers units that function without being connected to the internet, and after initial setup can be controlled locally with nothing but a free Home Assistant server.

No cops, no tattling.
Funkyfrogbait really popped off with their recent video on the whole "performative male" thing that was happening this summer

I don't always agree with them but they do go the extra mile to ask "why?" with these online trends, I really respect that
does anyone know how long we can realistically hold on to it before the safety risk gets too high? 😔 I really don't want to update

I had so much fun writing this piece.
Give it a read and check out LIVESCREAMERS on Tubi.

it's really so infuriating 😩 I'm thinking about investing in ffp3 at this point because I keep being trapped in trains with coughing people for several hours
in general, you really should be wearing masks in public, but at the very least when you are aware that you're sick!

disabled people deserve to be in public spaces without fearing for their safety
I usually get them on eBay bc they have the big packages but online pharmacies should also carry them if you want that extra sense of security!

Please, if you are sick and have to go out in public, wear a mask so you don't get other people sick!!!!!
