With my tooth pull surgery and a bunch of con/travel stuff I don't have much to spare either so I'm gonna try to circle around next paycheck or something if it's still open

This is very sad news. I met Rob through the old bird site and he was always so excited to talk games and check out new work. He even helped introduce me to a good friend and collaborator when she moved to Atlanta.

Oh I use frozen cherries (or frozen vegan yogurt) plus peanut butter (regular or powdered) plus some fresh bananas and oat milk as like my main smoothie mix, sometimes with cocoa powder or cinnamon?? It's very good and hard to mess up in my experience

Both the dentist and oral surgeon gave no indication they think my broken tooth is infected or anything but I've been feeling run down and paranoid it's causing me problems so I'm also excited to just get it out and not think about it until I save up for an implant (or maybe just leave it empty)

I already had a crown and two fillings done this year. It's crazy what insurance and stable employment can do tho I still needed to work extra to comfortably afford it plus travel (just the tooth pull is ~$2100 lol 💀 but it seems like a really good practice and plan for a future implant so...)

Been needing a $$ tooth pull surgery for a while and finally have it scheduled for Nov. I worked really hard to do extra freelance plus have a lot more FSA money than I realized so I feel lucky and excited I can get it done 🥲

At a press conference today, the mayor of Everett said there was a knife found in the child’s possession but *no* gun. I followed up with ICE and asked if they stand by the screenshot shared yesterday. Spokesperson said DHS was working on a response. Five hours later, still nothing.

Here are the facts: he posed a public safety threat with an extensive rap sheet including violent assault with a dangerous weapon, battery, breaking and entering, destruction of property.
He was in possession of a firearm and 5-7 inch knife when arrested.
