Sup! I'm Joe!

I love trains, especially Thomas the Tank Engine! I'm a proud member of the North Western Modelers and I collect model trains!

I'm a voice actor, I sing, and I'm a freelance artist!

At the end of the day, I just want to have fun! 💙✨

Me with my Kermit puppet (chugging hot sauce lmao) Me with the other North Western Modeler members and attendees at the Greenberg Train Show in Edison, NJ A picture featuring most of my engines on my layout. All the engines are facing away from the camera while Thomas is in the shunting yard behind a bunch of trucks looking right at the camera. What a busy railway! Besides Thomas, I LOVE Charlie Brown. Snoopy is like my spirit animal. Doing a crossover with these two, I'm surprised hardly anyone has done it before so I just had to do it myself! That's when I came up with Snoopy happily sleeping on Thomas' cab roof, messing around with the brushes to match the Peanuts art style the best I could! I plan to do more with this idea because this is only the beginning, possibly with other brands crossing over with Thomas! You'll just have to wait and see! :D

Neil of Fortune

Rusty gets frustrated at the thought of the Bluebell valley line closing when Stepney returns to the mainland. While searching for another engine to run the line, he finds someone many thought was lost to time...

Happy 41st Thomas and Friends!

(story in alts)
“It’s not fair,” complained Rusty. “I do love a good run through the bluebell valley at springtime. But Stepney’s gone home, you see. The line will close without him for sure!”
“It’s no use getting grouchy about it.” said Skarloey. “Being a crosspatch will get you nowhere, it never did for me when I was a young engine.”
The little engine thought back to long ago.
“It’s a shame Neil isn’t around these days. I’m sure he would love to run that line. He’s not very strong you see, not like the big engines we see. He was taken out of service years ago, bless his soul.” So off they set, past the bleak and brooding line of diesels. They soon realised that the box shaped engine letting off steam was not a diesel. All eyes glared at the little engines.
“Where is he going?” the diesels hissed.
“Just down the line!” gulped Rusty.
The diesels took his word and their growls subsided. Rusty quickly guided Neil out of the yard, leaving an eerie chorus of engines purring contentedly in their wake.
“We’ve done it!” cried Neil through exhausted puffs. When Skarloey opened his eyes he was amazed!
“Well bless my soul!” he exclaimed. “If it isn’t Neil!”
“I wouldnae be here if not for yer wee friend.” said Neil.
Skarloey looked at the little diesel.
“You never,”
“I did!” grinned Rusty. “Neil will be perfect for the Bluebell valley.”
“You lucky old engine!” chuckled Skarloey. “Fancy being saved so long after retirement.”
The manager arrived to see what all the commotion was about. He was delighted to see Neil and promised his immediate restoration.

To the best of my knowledge… there are no Nscale Southern Railway train order boards. Murphy Branch was “dark” so each depot had train order boards. I made one using drawings and made a mold. I cast others in epoxy. So far no luck on automating.😭😭

Here's some of the first prints of my #3Dprintable Furness coaches. I'm not too happy with the outcome. The coach seems a little overscale somehow, and its taking a lot of work to get the coach to sit on even the widest radius track due to the wide wheelbase. Still a lot of work to do. #modelrailway
This shot shows the interior of the coach from a bird's eye view. The roof has been removed to show 5 compartments, each with two seats at each end facing towards each other. This shot shows a side view of the coach. The 6 wheel arrangement can be seen from here. Side shot shows the backside of the coach, steps up to the roof along with a railing are positioned on one of the ends. Buffers and coupling hook are not yet printed as this is just a prototype. Another side view of the coach.

I finally got my first basic layout set up. Now I can start running my engines and testing out my #3Dprinted rolling stock. This is a little video from my first running session so please excuse the video quality. This is the train that came with the set. #modelrailway

I've spent today testing my rolling stock on the new layout, the #3Dprinted Furness railway coach exceeded expectations and ran very well on the 3rd radius track. With no derails. I'll have footage of the 2 pack running soon. #modelrailway
