Thank you, it's been a year of hell since they moved in 😭
I'll try citizen's advice because this is just crazy now.

I've missed job opportunities & sleep because of it & it's REALLY stressing me out, also bc of my sensory issues.
Just at a complete loss of what to do 🙃

They've had the police called to the address multiple times so they're on file.
For the longest time we thought they were being abused- the noises that come from there are like banshees at all hours of the day; gutteral screaming, running, banging, shouting & often from multiple people.

& trauma from loud noises.

Listening to music? Tried that, they're too loud. TV? Another room? Too loud.
I can hear them over my headphones at my desk upstairs too.
Noise canceling stuff? No, sensory issues, sucks on my ears & hurts them.

I've tried everything other than a lobotomy at this point.

Is there ANYTHING that can be done for noisy neighbors screaming & running around at all hours of the day!?

I've missed job opportunities, studying and sleep because of it and it's REALLY stressing me out & on top of that I'm Autistic & have sensory issues.

Local council and the police are doing fuck all, despite recordings, keeping a noise diary and the noise being reported by multiple witnesses for over a year now.

The UK seems to have a bigger/more focus on meet culture than the US, from what I've experienced.

So it's cheaper to meet up, but still a lot of folks I know phasing out of the fandom each year or moving away, very often to the other side of the country- my local meet is in London, expensive.

*Odd for the fandom, in that so much of it is online.

*Granted, I've only experienced this mostly with US furs, but I haven't been able to go to a US con in years.

Here in the UK I've found it's been the case of each year more & more people I know don't go, so it's hard to catch up in person.

I've noticed this for a while. It really sucks that so many friendships seem to depend on going to cons, even when you talk online (seems odd for the fandom imo).

I can only afford one con a year if that & I've found that since I've not been going regularly to US cons, they just forget about you :/
