Trump doing this as a unilateral decision, lying about what will be demolished to make the ballroom, Rs making fun of "TDS" libs for not liking it - it is all needless and pointlessly fuck-you. (2/2)

There is a hole the size of the Lincoln Tunnel waiting for a Democrat to go out to the Ellipse and start yelling about bulldozers.

The average age of U.S. homebuyers is now 56, up from 49 last year.

In 1981, the year trickledown economics began, it was 31.

the president has destroyed the east wing of the white house without so much as a word of input from anyone else to build a royal ballroom paid for with bribes
NEW: After The Washington Post reported Monday on the demolition of the "East Wing facade," a new picture obtained by Law Dork that was taken on Tuesday shows that a substantial portion of the entirety of the East Wing has been demolished.

“Senator Hoffman’s daughter, Hope, immediately said, “My dad has been shot… a fake… police came to our door.”

Afterwards, real cop pulled up next to fake cop, fake cop stared forward, wouldn’t engage. Real cop just left.

Fake cop then went and murdered the Hortman family.

Democrats should be drawing up legislation right now, this very minute, to bar Trump from helping himself to $230 million in taxpayer funds from DOJ. Challenge Republicans to hold a vote on it. Push this so hard in the media that every GOP Senate and House candidate is pressed to comment on it.

The Epstein Files must be the most nightmare shit ever if they're willing to do this. And I think Swalwell wasn't lying when he said there would be a huge defection if the vote hit the floor. Absolutely no other reason to do this. None at all.
I just went to the House floor to demand that Speaker Johnson swear in Adelita Grijalva, but the GOP gaveled out without even recognizing us.

We’re not going anywhere. I’m here with Leader Jeffries and Adelita Grijalva. Speaker Johnson must swear her in.

Demolishing the White House while also trying to get &250 million from the DOJ.

Why should we bother paying taxes anymore if they’re just going to go to Trump?

There is powerful messaging and imagery and I don’t understand how there is no opposition. From Dems, sure, but media and businesses and
Sorry Norm…was really hoping your club would get to the Series.
Can we get someone to create a Spurrier simulation game? Having a winning record at Duke would be one of the hardest levels in video game history.

it's cool how we have a government that 4chans constantly on twitter and shows off videos of the president shitting on americans while also being like, "make sure nobody sees us destroying the white house"

this is super normal stuff for highly stable nations
I played fast pitch softball all throughout college. Amazingly fast-paced game…almost too fast at first. Took me three years to figure out how to hit. I truly believe most guys would flail against an average female pitcher. Gave me incredible respect for women’s fast pitch in particular.

George Kirby is the 15th pitcher to start 2 winner-take-all games in a single postseason

He’s the fourth of those to allow 1 or 0 runs in both, joining:

1991 John Smoltz
1985 Bret Saberhagen
1972 Blue Moon Odom
That’s a really solid list right there.

The third Game 7 homer EVER in the 7th inning or later that turned a deficit into a lead. The others:

Hal Smith, Pirates, 1960 WS
Howie Kendrick, Nats, 2019 WS
One of the most consequential homers in baseball history, considering the stakes. Amazing.
George Springer gives the Jays the lead

Media outlets who refuse to describe in plain terms what the president did because they find it objectionable are lying to their audiences and running cover for the president. It's as simple as that.
The president of the United States posted a video of him defecating on the American people. Many in my profession normalized it. This is a big reason why we are where we are.

A few people in colonial costumes complaining about immigrants was novel to NYT editors. Their friends don't do that. A running narrative would be exciting, especially after Obama won big.

Millions rallying against Trump's authoritarian abuses? Bor-ring. NYT editors have heard that argument before.
Here's a gift link to the New York Times' coverage of the initial Tea Party rallies in April 2009 which inspired the media to treat it like a massive movement.

Check out how tiny the crowds were:

Philly: 200
DC: "several hundred"
Boston: 500
Austin: 1,000
Houston: 2,000
